# Quote2Cart > Quote2Cart is a B2B quoting platform for ecommerce. Shoppers request quotes on the storefront; sales teams negotiate in the merchant app; customers receive a branded email/PDF and convert an approved quote into checkout on the connected commerce platform. Canonical site: https://quote2cart.app/ Short index: https://quote2cart.app/llms.txt Full documentation: https://quote2cart.app/llms-full.txt Help docs: https://quote2cart.app/documentation Support: support@quote2cart.app --- ## 1. Product Overview Quote2Cart separates a shared quote workflow from each commerce platform adapter. The core covers quote capture, pricing, companies and customers, documents, assignment, and cart conversion. Each adapter owns platform authentication, catalog/customer access, storefront placement, and checkout conversion. Typical flow: storefront quote capture → admin draft/send → customer opens checkout link → platform cart with negotiated pricing → paid order. Ecwid and BigCommerce apps are available. Shopify is planned. ### What Quote2Cart Does - Adds Add to Quote, Convert to Quote, and My Quotes on the storefront - Lets merchants create, assign, price, preview, send, archive, and complete quotes - Organizes buyers into companies and customer groups - Applies automatic discount rules, custom prices, and exclusions - Sends branded quote emails and PDFs (six presentation styles) - Converts approved quotes into the connected platform cart - Publishes or disables the storefront widget without uninstalling - Optionally hides catalog prices and hides Add to Quote on specific products - Supports English, French, and Spanish in the merchant interface ### How It Works 1. Install the Quote2Cart app for Ecwid or BigCommerce 2. Complete store profile, quote rules, and email/SMTP 3. Publish the storefront widget (Ecwid customJsUrl / BigCommerce Script Manager) 4. Shoppers add lines to a quote or convert the current cart 5. Merchants negotiate, apply discounts, select shipping, and send a branded quote 6. The customer opens the checkout link; Quote2Cart rebuilds the platform cart with negotiated lines 7. The buyer finishes the platform’s normal checkout --- ## 2.
