Workspace & quotes

The Workspace is where merchants monitor the quote pipeline, create and send quotes, and follow customer activity from request through completion.

Dashboard

The dashboard combines storefront status, setup readiness, and quote performance.

  • Storefront status — See whether the quote widget is Live or Off; publish or disable it.
  • Setup checklist — Complete Store Profile, Basic Setup, Customer Interface, Email, and Distribution.
  • KPIs — New and pending quotes, quote value, revenue, conversion rate, average quote, growth, and new chats.
  • Pipeline — Compare quote counts and value by status.
  • Activity — Review quote activity for 7 days, 14 days, or a custom date range.
  • Sales reps — Compare assigned quote volume, completions, conversion, sales, and average quote value.
  • Recent quotes — Open the latest quote records directly.

Quotes

Find and track quotes

Search by quote number, customer, or email and filter by status. Quote records can be Draft, Sent, Opened, Completed, Archived, or Cancelled.

Create or edit a quote

  1. Choose an existing customer or enter customer, company, phone, address, and customer-group details.
  2. Search the connected catalog, select required product options, or create a custom product line.
  3. Set quantity and negotiated unit price; review cost, margin, and line totals.
  4. Choose a sales rep, expiry date, delivery time, customer notes, email message, and staff-only notes.
  5. Adjust bulk discount, shipping amount, tax percentage, and CC recipients.
  6. Save Draft, send an Email Preview, or Send Quote.
Current limitation: automatic shipping-rate lookup is marked “coming soon.” Merchants can still enter a shipping amount manually.

Quote detail and actions

  • Review customer details, billing address, products, notes, totals, activity, ownership, expiry, and source.
  • Preview the customer document and open the printable PDF.
  • Send the quote, edit it, copy the quote number, and copy or open the generated cart link.
  • Mark Completed, Archive, or Cancel from quote management actions.
  • Open the linked Ecwid order when an order reference is available.

Sending emails the quote document and checkout link and changes the status to Sent. The cart link is generated only after a successful send.

Quote Chat (optional feature)

When Quote Chat is enabled for the deployment and store, the Workspace includes a conversation inbox tied to quote records. Merchants can open a quote from a thread, review messages, and reply. New conversations can also be started from quote detail.

Availability: the navigation is controlled by a deployment feature flag. If Quote Chat is not shown in the sidebar, it is not enabled for that deployment.
